Shawn Smith learned Spanish while serving an LDS mission in Mexico. After his LDS mission, Shawn earned a Political Science degree from Utah State University. He then received his law degree from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska.

Upon graduating from law school in 2014, Mr. Smith immediately began working with a firm that practiced immigration and criminal defense. Shawn continues to work in immigration and criminal defense today.

Mr. Smith has worked on thousands of complex cases that involve both criminal and immigration consequences. In addition to removal cases, Shawn also specializes in family-based immigration.
